Kerala’s Ambalapuzha village still devoid of basic amenities

Ambalapuzha village of Kerala's Alappuzha district is deprived of basic facilities such as roads, high schools, drinking water and other facilities. According to the villagers due to no roads, it's difficult to reach hospital, when sick. Drinking water comes on weekly basis. Villagers alleged that political leaders make promises during polls but don't fulfill them. The village is only 13 kilometres away from the Alappuzha city.
