Spectator stand collapses injuring hundreds

Around a hundred people were injured when a spectator stand collapsed during a game of kabaddi in Suryapet in the south Indian state of Telangana.

According to the local media the incident occurred during the 47th national junior kabaddi tournament.

About 20 critically injured spectators were rushed to the hospital.

The stand was made of wood and other material.
