Target is to form BJP govt: CM Sonowal on chief ministerial candidate

When asked that who will become the Chief Minister, if BJP retains power in Assam, CM Sarbananda Sonowal said that the target is to form a BJP government as it is the highest level of satisfaction.
CM Sarbananda Sonowal said, “You ask the Parliamentary Board, why are you asking me? We are BJP workers, our target is to form the BJP government in the state. That's our highest level of satisfaction. Who becomes CM is not the question.”
Denying any competition from the Congress alliance, CM Sonowal said that BJP has taken everyone along and therefore everybody feels secure and protected. “We are sure and confident that we will be able to defeat this enemy of the nation,” he added.
