Marcus Smart was interviewed following the Celtics 112-96 win vs the Magic. Smart played a big role in Boston’s ball movement today, tallying eight assists. After the game, he talked about the Kings loss the other day. Smart said that after that game they held a team meeting and “had a talk about fixing the season.” They asked each other how they wanted to remember this year in an attempt to get things back on track. This win against Orlando snapped a three-game losing streak that the Celtics were on. Smart said that in the team meeting they said that “if we’re going to go out, we’ve got to go out the way we know how to go out, and that’s playing together.” This game was one of the defensive efforts put up by the Celtics in a long time.
