Landing Craft Utility (LCU) L-58 is commissioned into Indian Navy at Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The ship is also capable of carrying 160 soldiers besides its crew. This is the eighth and last ship of mark IV class.
While inducting the Navy's fleet, Commander Krishna K. Yadav read the commission warrant as to the first commanding officer of the ship. After joining the L-58 Navy, India has now got 3 LCU and 4th class LCU of Kumbhir category.

लैंडिंग क्राफ्ट यूटिलिटी एल-58 गुरुवार को पोर्ट ब्लेयर, अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह में भारतीय नौसेना में कमीशन किया गया। यह मार्क IV क्लास का आठवां और आखिरी जहाज है, जिसे नौसेना के बेड़े में शामिल करते समय कमांडर कृष्ण के यादव ने जहाज के पहले कमांडिंग अधिकारी के रूप में कमीशन वारंट पढ़ा। अब भारत के पास कुम्भिर वर्ग के 3 एलसीयू और चतुर्थ श्रेणी के 8 एलसीयू हो गए हैं। जीआरएसई ने यह आखिरी जहाज 31 दिसम्बर, 2020 को नौसेना को सौंपा था। नौसेना प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि जहाज पर पांच अधिकारियों और 50 नाविकों की एक उत्साही टीम तैनात है।
