In the midst of a political stir in Maharashtra, NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday refused to immediately remove the state home minister Anil Deshmukh. He said that the allegations against Deshmukh are serious but the Chief Minister will consider his resignation and also said that this case will not affect the image of the government. The allegations of recovery of 100 crore are serious but on the restoration of Sachin Waje said that the reinstatement of API Sachin Waje was not done by the Chief Minister but by the Police Commissioner Parambir Singh.

महाराष्ट्र में सियासी हलचल के बीच एनसीपी प्रमुख शरद पवार ने आज रविवार को राज्य के गृह मंत्री अनिल देशमुख को तुरंत हटाने से इनकार कर दिया. उन्होंने कहा कि देशमुख पर लगे आरोप गंभीर हैं लेकिन उनके इस्तीफे पर विचार मुख्यमंत्री करेंगे.साथ ही उन्होंने ये भी कहा कि इस प्रकरण से सरकार की छवि पर असर नहीं पड़ेगा.एनसीपी प्रमुख ने प्रेस कांफ्रेस में कहा कि राज्य के गृह मंत्री अनिल देशमुख पर 100 करोड़ की वसूली वाले आरोप गंभीर हैं लेकिन सचिन वाजे की बहाली पर कहा कि एपीआई सचिन वाजे की बहाली मुख्यमंत्री ने नहीं बल्कि पुलिस कमिश्नर परमबीर सिंह ने ही की थी.
