The Yogi Adityanath government has now started efforts to remove these illegal structures. On March 12, instructions were given by the home department to demolish all religious places on the roads or along them constructed after January 2011. The government has said that religious places built before January 1, 2011, will be shifted elsewhere. The government has asked for a report within two months. Watch video to know more.
