Showbiz fans are asking themselves this question after the 23-year-old singer-actress greeted the 48-year-old singer-producer on his birthday.

Maris posted a black and white photo of the former Rivermaya frontman with the simple caption: "hi rico. happy birthday."

Swiping left, the joint post is a video of her and Rico singing the song "Brighter Than Sunshine" by Aqualung.

The pair has visible chemistry in the clip.

Celebrities then has comments on Maris's post, suggesting there is more to the post than a birthday greeting.
