As Gujarat reported 1,276 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, authorities in Surat have shut down malls and imposed a night curfew in the city from 9 pm to 6 am till Monday. In the last 24 hours, the state reported 899 recoveries and three deaths. Of the 1,276 cases, 324 were reported in Surat, 298 in Ahmedabad, 111 in Vadodara and 98 in Rajkot. The total active cases in the state now stands at 5,684.
