LeBron James acquired a share of Red Sox ownership as Fenway Sports Group went public, allowing James to continue to acquire sports business and entertainment properties that have made him a billionaire. John Henry and the Red Sox have done the same with Boston's baseball team and the Liverpool football club, which Henry is trying to package with other sports platforms as a larger public business that LeBron will now be involved in, technically making him a Red Sox OWNER and sending Boston into a frenzy.
