Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on March 16 held a roadshow in West Bengal’s Paschim Medinipur ahead of upcoming polls in the state. He slammed TMC-run state government for allegedly opposing chanting of lord Ram’s name. He questioned the state government for “opposing Ram’s name and why the TMC government thinks conspiracy in it.” “Who have opposed Lord Ram got befitting reply from people,” he said. Elections for 294-member assembly seats will be held in 8 phases from March 27 to April 29. Counting of votes will take place on May 2.
