There was a lot of uproar in the Odisha Legislative Assembly on Saturday. Due to which Assembly Speaker SN Patro adjourned the proceedings of the House twice. The opposition party and the ruling party's MLAs and ministers reached near the Speaker's seat. The Congress and BJP MLAs demanded the government to immediately lift the paddy from the mandis. At the same time, the BJD MLAs asked a member of the BJP to apologize for attempting suicide in the House, a day before.

ओडिशा विधानसभा में शनिवार को खूब हंगामा हुआ. जिसके कारण विधानसभा अध्यक्ष एस एन पात्रो ने सदन की कार्यवाही दो बार स्थगित की. विपक्षी दल और सत्तारूढ़ दल के विधायक और मंत्री विधानसभा अध्यक्ष के आसन के समीप पहुंच गए. कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के विधायकों ने सरकार से मंडियों से धान तत्काल उठवाने की मांग की. वहीं BJD के विधायकों ने बीजेपी के एक सदस्य से एक दिन पहले, सदन में आत्महत्या की कोशिश करने के लिए माफी मांगने को कहा.
