In Birds of a Feather, the Zula Patrol makes an emergency landing in the Zula Forest when its space craft freezes up. They land near a bird’s nest and find an abandoned egg! After the baby bird hatches, the Zula Patrol decide to track down its mother, who Deliria bird-napped in order to design a flying machine for Cloid. Along the way, the Zula Patrol learns about animal adaptation, and the baby bird helps the Zula Patrol rescue its mother and snare Deliria and Cloid
