Air Travel Roars Back as, Vaccinations Spur Bookings.
More than 1.34 million people were
screened by the Transportation
Security Administration (TSA) on Sunday.
It was the busiest weekend in
U.S. air travel in over a year.
The Sunday number alone was up
by more than 86,000 from this time last year.
While still significantly below the
pre-pandemic travel levels of 2019.
market confidence in JetBlue and Delta airlines
showed signs of optimism with a two percent
boost in premarket trading on Monday.
Both American and United Airlines shares
were up by more than two percent.
The growing number of
Americans who have been
vaccinated has likely played
a role in the increase of air travel
