Anthony Edwards, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of the University of Georgia, recorded a career-high 34 points, including a career-high six 3pt FGM for the Timberwolves as they defeated the Trail Blazers, 114-112, splitting their two-game back-to-back series. Damian Lillard tallied 38 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Trail Blazers in the losing effort. The Timberwolves improve to 9-30 on the season, while the Trail Blazers fall to 22-16.
