Patrice Motsepe named CAF President
South African Business Mogul and Mamelodi Sundowns boss Patrice Motsepe is the new President of the Confederation of African Football. Motsepe went into Friday's election as the sole candidate after negotiations with his rivals to step aside from the contest. He becomes the first South African to lead the organisation. The continent’s football association is in serious need of an overhaul, after being plagued for years by corruption and disorganisation. Independent football journalist, Thomas Kwenaite, has more.
