The state government has set a target of vaccinating 1 lakh elderly people per day here. The Odisha government has said that all people above the age of 60 years should be vaccinated within one and a half months, as the heat will be very high in the state in May-June, so the work of vaccination may be affected. Therefore, the state government gave a target of corona vaccination of one lakh elderly per day to all DMs of the district.

1 मार्च से पूरे देश में कोरोना वैक्सीन का दूसरा चरण चल रहा है, ऐसे में ओडिशा सरकार ने एक अहम कदम उठाया है। राज्य सरकार ने यहां प्रति दिन 1 लाख बुजुर्गों का टीकाकरण का लक्ष्य रखा है। ओडिशा सरकार ने कहा है कि डेढ़ महीने के अंदर 60 साल के ऊपर के सभी लोगों का टीकाकरण हो जाना चाहिए क्योंकि मई-जून में राज्य में गर्मी बहुत ज्यादा होगी, ऐसे में टीकाकरण का काम प्रभावित हो सकता है। इसलिए राज्य सरकार ने जिले के सभी DM को प्रति दिन एक लाख बुजुर्गों का कोरोना टीकाकरण का लक्ष्य दिया
