Ex-cricketers all set for Masters Champions League

Former stalwarts like Brian Lara, Wasim Akram, Adam Gilchrist, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara and several other retired stars form a part of a pool of 90-odd players who will be seen in action when the tournament gets underway next year in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

The MCL is a tournament for ex-cricketers being initiated by the Dubai-based Grand Midwest Sports and approved by the Emirates Cricket Board.
