Many great films have won Oscars... but this isn't one of them. Renfrew films were always weak on historical accuracy but strong on fun. In this outing Renfrew and Kelly go after gold thieves and, as we all know, catch the bad guys in the end and sings a song or two for good measure. This film fell into the public domain in 1967 from lack of copyright renewal.
