The worst effect of the Corona crisis was on the railways. During this time people did not leave their homes. Due to Corona, the railways also had to stop operating trains. This has caused a huge loss to the railways. Railways are now taking all steps to overcome losses. These include the process of collecting fines along with the increase in passenger fares. Under this, Western Railway has imposed a fine of more than Rs 8.50 lakhs in 6 days from those who do not wear masks.

कोरोना संकट का सबसे बुरा असर रेलवे पर पड़ा । इस दौरान लोग अपने घर से नहीं निकले।कोरोना के चलते रेलवे को भी ट्रेनों का परिचालन रोकना पड़ा। इससे रेलवे को काफी घाटा हुआ है। घाटे से उबरने के लिए रेलवे अब तमाम कदम उठा रहा है। इनमें यात्री किराए में बढ़ोतरी के साथ जुर्माना वसूलने की प्रक्रिया भी शामिल है। इसके तहत पश्चिम रेलवे ने मास्क न पहनने वालों से 6 दिन में करीब साढ़े 8 लाख से अधिक का जुर्माना वसूला है।
