‘SpongeBob’ Spinoff
‘The Patrick Star Show’.
On March 4, Nickelodeon confirmed it
would be creating a spinoff of the long-running
cartoon classic, ‘SpongeBob SquarePants.’.
The second original
spinoff will be called
‘The Patrick Star Show.’.
According to Ramsey Naito, President of
Nickelodeon Animation, the show will take
a look at the early life of Patrick Star,
SpongeBob’s loyal companion.
Nickelodeon is diving deeper into
Bikini Bottom to give fans a look at
our lovable young adult Patrick Star
and his entire family with a sitcom
only he could imagine up, Ramsey Naito, President of
Nickelodeon Animation, via ‘Complex’.
Naito also said that the new show
will allow Nickelodeon to “expand [its]
reach” and “tell new stories.” .
‘The Patrick Star Show’ will debut on
Nickelodeon this summer with 13 episodes. .
Bill Fagerbakke will voice young Patrick
alongside Tom Wilson as Cecil Star, Cree Summer
as Bunny Star, Jill Talley as Squidina Star and
Dana Snyder as GrandPat Star.
There will also be appearances by the original cast including
Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward, Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs
and Mr. Lawrence as Plankton
