reported that Maia Chaka
will make NFL history.
It’s just an honor to join the National Football League, Maia Chaka, via NBC News.

Chaka, who has been training with the NFL since 2014, has also officiated XFL and college games.
She is also a health and physical education teacher for at-risk youth in Virginia Beach.
As the second-ever female NFL referee after Sarah Thomas, Chaka hopes to set an example for her students.
