Assembly elections are going to be held in five states and union territories of the country including West Bengal. Which includes Kerala. On Thursday, March 4, a news came out about Kerala, in which it was told that Metro man E Sreedharan will be the chief ministerial candidate of BJP. Union Minister V Muralitharan had given a statement about this, that the party has decided to make Sreedharan as the chief ministerial candidate. But now the Union Minister has retracted from his own statement. Union Minister V Muralitharan has said that the party is yet to take a decision on the chief ministerial candidate.

पश्चिम बंगाल समेत देश के पांच राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश में विधानसभा चुनाव होने जा रहे हैं. जिनमें केरल भी शामिल है. केरल को लेकर गुरुवार 4 मार्च को एक खबर सामने आई, जिसमें बताया गया कि मेट्रो मैन ई श्रीधरन बीजेपी के मुख्यमंत्री उम्मीदवार होंगे. केंद्रीय मंत्री वी मुरलीधरन ने इसे लेकर बयान दिया था कि पार्टी ने श्रीधरन को मुख्यमंत्री उम्मीदवार बनाने का फैसला किया है. लेकिन अब केंद्रीय मंत्री अपने ही बयान से मुकर गए हैं. केंद्रीय मंत्री वी मुरलीधरन ने कहा है कि पार्टी ने अभी मुख्यमंत्री उम्मीदवार को लेकर फैसला नहीं लिया है.
