Tens of thousands of cranes were filmed near Hula lake in northern Israel as they gathered to continue their spring migration from Africa to Europe.
The birds were fed by local farmers and workers from the Jewish National Fund (JNF) in attempt to keep them away from agricultural areas.
Around half a billion birds of 400 species are estimated to be migrating through the area to their nesting places each spring.
