Six states -Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Punjab, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh - have report a spurt in the number of coronavirus cases in the last few day. The daily tally of virus cases were above 16,000 for the third time in this week. The latest tally comes after a month.
