Private hospitals to charge Rs 250 for one dose of coronavirus vaccine

The coronavirus vaccine at private facilities in India will be available at a maximum price of Rs 250 per dose, the central government said on Saturday. While the vaccine is being given free of cost at the government centres, people will need to pay for it at private facilities.Union Health Ministry sources have told India Today TV that the vaccine price at the private hospitals is currently been fixed at Rs 250 per dose, inclusive of Rs 100 service charge.
