Actress Ameesha Patel has found herself in a multi-crore cheque bounce fraud case. The petition filed in film actress Ameesha Patel's case was heard in the Jharkhand High Court. After listening to all the parties in the case, the court directed both parties to have a written response ready in two weeks, considering the seriousness of the case. The petition was heard in the Jharkhand High Court by Judge Anand Sen. The judge heard the case through video conference from his residence.

बॉलिवुड ऐक्‍ट्रेस अमीषा पटेल पर करोड़ों रुपये की धोखाधड़ी का आरोप लगा है। मामला झारखंड हाईकोर्ट में है। झारखंड हाई कोर्ट ने इस मामले में सुनवाई करते हुए अमीषा पटेल और साथ ही याचिका दायर करने वाले शख्स को 2 हफ्तों में लिखित में जवाब देने को कहा है. यानि की अमीषा को अगले दो हफ्ते में इस मामले पर सफाई पेश करनी होगी. अमीषा पटेल की कंपनी पर फिल्म बनाने के नाम पर पैसा लेकर धोखाधड़ी करने का आरोप लगाया गया है.
