England's first museum dedicated to women is set to open this year

The first museum in England dedicated to women will finally open later this year - six years after a previous plan saw it turned into a venue dedicated to Jack the Ripper.The site, which will be located in Barking in east London, will feature exhibitions of women with historical ties to the East End, including the legendary Suffragettes.To get a sense of what visitors can expect, Yahoo News UK took a quick tour of the accompanying heritage trail.The museum is currently crowdfunding to support the big move to the new physical location.Picture credits:
