The postman who was caught on a security camera shooting a dog with a rubber band in Kluang, Johor, has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation carried out by Pos Malaysia.

In a statement issued today, Pos Malaysia said their stand against animal cruelty will not be taken lightly.

It added that it will not tolerate such misconduct from any of its employees, and will not hesitate to take stern action, which include termination of service.
