Rajinikanth along with his family members offered prayers at the Sri Devarajaswami Temple, on August 14, in Tamil Nadu’s Kanchipuram as the idol of Lord Athi Varadar is turned to standing position. The idol is taken out once in 40 years from the temple pond.
