Just two days into the lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus, videos of police officials punishing those who violate the lockdown and ignore the limitations on movement have begun to emerge from across the nation. One such video has emerged from Budaun town in western Uttar Pradesh, where a group of men were forced to hop down a main road with bags on their back. Similar incident was also reported from Pratapgarh in Rajasthan. Police officials punished people violating the lockdown rules by making them. People were forced to do frog jumps on the road. The number of coronavirus cases is very close to touching the 700 mark in the country. 16 deaths have been reported so far.
