Video of Mars (captured by Curiosity) ... 225 million kilometers from us ... as if you were there. Tremendous technological and scientific feat.

Curiosity has been on Mars for nine years: the rover regularly sends images of what it "sees" around it. In 2019, the rover took images to create this stunning panorama in color, which remains the most detailed to date.
It is this panorama that we see on the "video" where we sweep from one end to the other this immense photo of 1.8 billion pixels, which was presented by NASA on March 4. 2020.
It is in fact made up of more than a thousand images, taken over several days, which were assembled by NASA teams on Earth.
Sound has been added because Curiosity does not have a microphone to record sound.
