South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada hinted at missing part of the Indian Premier League 2021 if it ends up clashing with the Proteas’ limited-overs series against Pakistan. Rabada cleared that he will prioritize playing his country more than playing in the IPL. Notably, Delhi Capitals had retained Kagiso Rabada after his performance last season helped DC reach their maiden IPL final. Pakistan are set to tour South Africa for three ODIs and four T20Is from April 2 to April 16 with the IPL also expected to commence around the same time.

दिल्ली कैपिटल्स को बड़ा झटका लगने वाला है. या यूँ कहिये कि लग चुका है. दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के स्टार गेंदबाज कगिसो रबाडा दिल्ली के लिए पहले हफ्ते में नहीं खेल सकेंगे. कुछ मैचों से वो दूर होंगे. कगिसो रबाडा ने इस बात का एलान पहले ही कर दिया है. जोकि अच्छी बात है. इससे दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के मैनेजमेंट को ज्यादा चिंता करने की जरूरत नहीं होगी. बैकअप प्लान के साथ चलेंगे और कगिसो रबाडा की जगह वो किसी और विकल्प की तरफ जाएंगे. साउथ अफ्रीकी वेबसाइट से बातचीत में रबाडा ने साफतौर पर कहा कि वो आईपीएल से पहले देश के लिए ही खेलेंगे. बता दें रबाडा पिछले आईपीएल में सबसे ज्यादा विकेट लेकर पर्पल कप विनर बने थे. उन्होंने 17 मैचों में कुल 30 विकेट अपने नाम किये थे.
