IPL 2021 Auction All-Rounder Strike Big As Chris Morris, Glen Maxwell Became Most Expensive Buys

South Africa allrounder Chris Morris became the costliest ever player at an IPL auction while Krishnappa Gowtham (CSK) became the costliest Indian uncapped player at the IPL 2021 auction. Cheteshwar Pujara was sold to Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians acquired Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar.
A total of 292 players were enlisted for the shortened auctions — 164 of them Indian and 125 overseas.
