What starts the end times? The key passage is Daniel 11:21-45. Verses 22-23 talk about a covenant between a dishonorable man and many nations. Daniel 9:27 prophesies that this agreement begins the end times. Three and a half years later, this man breaks the deal. Daniel 11:31 describes how he desecrates the Jewish temple, abolishes daily sacrifices and sets up the abomination that causes desolation. This is the same abomination of desolation that Jesus warned about. Finally, the ruler that’s introduced in Daniel 11:21 is the same guy discussed in the rest of the passage. Yes, this is the Antichrist.

It leads to the Daniel 11:22 War, which is an upset victory for the Antichrist.
