Vaccination roll-out encourages property boom in sleepy Sao Paulo town

The promise of a mass vaccination rollout in a sleepy Brazilian town has left estate agents inundated with property requests.
Research institute Butantan is planning on vaccinating 30,000 of Serrana’s 50,000 residents as part of a study into the virus due to the town’s high infection rate.
Demand created by the vaccination campaign has sent property and rental prices skyrocketing in Serrana.
Residents will be vaccinated with the CoronaVac developed by China's Sinovac Biotech, already widely used across Brazil.
