Bengal minister injured in crude bomb attack in Murshidabad

West Bengal minister Jakir Hossain and his nephew were injured after crude bombs were hurled at him in Murshidabad on Wednesday. Unidentified attackers hurled crude bombs at Jakir Hossain, the minister of state for labour, while his convoy was on way to Nimtita railway station in Jangipur city of Murshidabad district of West Bengal late Wednesday. The incident took place under the Suti police station area. Hossain suffered serious injuries on his leg and at least two other persons who were with him were also injured in the attack.
