Texas Winter Storm Leaves
Millions Without Power.
About 2.7 million Texans are still without power following an arctic blast in the area earlier this week.
The state’s power grid became strained
following high customer demand as
a result of the frigid temperatures.
Austin Energy said customers should
prepare to be without electricity
through Wednesday, if not longer.
A storm warning will remain in effect in the Fort Worth-Dallas area through Thursday morning.
At least 30 people have died
across the country since last week
due to storm-related incidents
