2011 Solar Storm and Plasma Burst

When the sun is viewed in UV light solar storms like this one from 2011 become visible. In this 3 day time lapse plasma and coronal mass ejections are visible as the white bursts leaving the sun. The sun was at solar maximum near 2011 and will be approaching maximum again soon.
