PM launches new education tv channel, hopes it will help overcome online hurdles

The government has sought to address concerns that some children are being left behind in their studies as they do not have the means to go online, where most lessons are now taking place during the movement control order (MCO).

"The government realises that students come from various backgrounds, some are from urban areas, rural areas or the interiors.

"Therefore, we accept the reality that the online home-based teaching and learning module (PdPR) still cannot be implemented holistically within a short time frame.
