Kader Khan was an Afghan-born Indian-Canadian film actor, screenwriter, comedian, and director. As an actor, he appeared in over 300 films after his debut film in the 1973 film Daag, starring Rajesh Khanna, in which he acted as a prosecuting attorney. Kader Khan while shooting for one of his movies with Govinda and Razak Khan. He was a very active not just in life but his movie 'Joru Ka Ghulam' as well as he wrote most of his lines for his character. Kader Khan was born on December 11, 1937 in Pishin, Balochistan, British India. He was an actor and writer, known for Taqdeerwala (1995), Naseeb (1981) and Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990). He was married to Azra Khan. He died on December 31, 2018, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He wrote dialogue for over 100 movies in the 70s, 80s and 90s. As of 2016, he has never worked with Shah Rukh Khan and shared any scenes together. Although he had a cameo as one of the bidders in Oh Darling Yeh Hai India (1995) both were not exchanging dialogues or communicated with each other despite they were in one location. Though Khan only wrote the dialogues of most of his films (over 100 at final tally), he was always part of the writing team, especially with Manmohan Desai's team of Prayag Raj, K.K.Shukla and K.B.Pathak. "No dialogue writer can pen his lines in isolation. A knowledge of the screenplay is absolutely essential," says Khan. Kader Khan directed the drunk Amitabh band-aid scene in Amar Akbar Anthony.
