Mohammad Shami and Navdeep Saini are likely to join the Indian team from the third Test against England in Ahmedabad. The two pacers have recovered from their respective injuries and have been asked by the team management to not play the Vijay Hazare one-day tournament from Feb 20. The selectors are slated to announce the team for the next two Tests after the second Test ends in Chennai. The selectors may also announce the squad for the five-match T20I series that follows the Tests.

टीम इंडिया और इंग्लैंड के बीच 4 मैचों की टेस्ट सीरीज का दूसरा मैच चेन्नई के मैदान पर खेला जा रहा है जहा टीम इंडिया लगभग जीत की कगार पर है। इस मैच के बाद दोनों ही टीमों की नज़र टेस्ट सीरीज के बाकी बचे मैचों पर होंगे। सीरीज के बाकी बचे दोनों मुकाबले अहमदाबाद के मोटेरा स्टेडियम में खेले जाएंगे। जिसके लिए अभी टीम भी चुनी जानी है। टेस्ट सीरीज के दूसरे मैच के बाद इन दो टेस्ट मैचों के अलावा 5 मैचों की टी20 सीरीज के लिए भी टीम चुनी जायेगी। रिपोर्ट्स की माने तो टेस्ट सीरीज के बाकी बचे मुकाबलों के लिए नवदीप सैनी और मोहम्मद शमी का चुना जाना लगभग तय है, क्युकी ये दोनों खिलाड़ी फिट होकर नेट्स पर लौट चुके हैं।
