केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने देश का पहला सीएनजी ट्रैक्टर लॉन्च कर दिया है. ये एक डीजल ट्रैक्टर है जिसे CNG में कन्वर्ट किया गया है। ये अपने तरह का देश का पहला ट्रैक्टर है। सरकार का मानना है कि इस नए ट्रैक्टर के प्रयोग से देश के किसानों को आत्मनिर्भर बनने में मदद मिलेगी। सीएनजी ट्रैक्टर को लॉन्च करते हुए नितिन गडकरी ने कहा कि इससे किसानों को डेढ़ लाख रुपये की सालान बचत होगी.
