On the last day of the first phase of the budget session in the Rajya Sabha, there was a lot of buzz. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman replied in the House regarding the discussion on the budget. He retaliated when the Opposition called the budget as the budget of the rich. During this, the opposition parties lashed out fiercely. He attacked the Congress fiercely and said that the government's schemes are only for the benefit of the poor and not for any son-in-law.

राज्यसभा में बजट सत्र के पहले चरण के आखिरी दिन काफी गहमा-गहमी का माहौल रहा. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने बजट पर हुई चर्चा को लेकर सदन में जवाब दिया. उन्होंने विपक्ष द्वारा बजट को अमीरों का बजट बताए जाने पर पलटवार कर अपनी बात कही. इस दौरान विपक्षी दलों पर जमकर बरसीं. उन्होंने कांग्रेस पर जमकर निशाना साधा और कहा कि सरकार की योजनाएं केवल गरीबों को लाभ पहुंचाने के लिए हैं, न कि किसी दामाद के लिए.
