Most Indian Americans Who Support PM Modi Voted Republican, Finds New Survey

Nearly half of Indian Americans approve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s performance, as per a recent survey. According to the 2020 Indian American Attitudes Survey (IAAS) released Tuesday, 49% of the 1200 Indian Americans surveyed hold a favourable view of PM Narendra Modi’s performance and most of those who backed Modi voted Republican and are Hindus.
The survey also revealed that Indian Americans are divided on their views about India’s trajectory. Thirty nine per cent of Indian Americans feel India is moving in the wrong direction, while 36% feel it is on the right track
