Centre turns down Twitter's dialogue proposal; Company cites action against 500 accounts

A day after Twitter said it is seeking formal dialogue with the Information Technology Minister after the government ordered it to take down 1,178 accounts for allegedly spreading misinformation around farmers' protests, according to a report, Ravi Shankar Prasad has turned down the social media platform's request.
