उत्तर प्रदेश के कासगंज जिले में कानपुर के बिकरु गांव जैसी ही एक वारदात सामने आई है, जहां पुलिस अवैध शराब के कारोबार को बंद कराने गई थी, लेकिन बदमाशों ने पुलिस की टीम पर ही जानलेवा हमला कर दिया, यही नहीं शराब माफियाओं ने पहले एक सब इंस्पेक्टर और सिपाही को बंधक बना लिया और फिर उन दोनों को गायब कर दिया. बाद में दरोगा घायल हालत में एक खेत से मिले और सिपाही की लाश दूसरी जगह से बरामद हुई.वहीं पुलिस ने इस हत्याकांड में एक आरोपी को मुठभेड़ में ढेर कर दिया।
