Phoebe Bridgers’ Top 8 Career Moments On Set With NYLON
  • 3 years ago
Phoebe Bridgers’ career advice? “Be nice. Take no sh*t. Pee after sex.”

Phoebe Bridgers seems to be the center of the indie-darling collaboration universe. It all started when her grandpa paid her to play a family reunion (it wasn’t her family) — and it got her an opening gig with The Violent Femmes. Now, she’s making (and getting fired from) music videos with Phoebe Waller-Bridge and picking up Conor Oberst, Julien Baker, and Marshall Vore along the way. And it’s easy to see how she picked up so many talented friends along her (at this point) fairly short but impressive career. Not only is she a talented musician, but she’s exactly the kind of cool but down-to-earth friend you’d want to have. Who can also pull off a David Bowie/Annie Lennox suit fit and fire orange hair without even trying.
