The nationwide chakka jam, called by farmers agitating against three new farm laws, is on Saturday. During the chakka jam, the farmers intend to block all national and state highways to re-energise and revive their protest marred by violence that erupted during the tractor rally on Republic Day.

The Delhi Police has deployed additional measures, including tightening security and intensifying vigil at Delhi's border points, to deal with any situation emerging out of the proposed 'chakka jam' by farmers protesting against the Centre's farm laws. The protetsing farmers have decided to block roads and highways during the nationwide 'chakka jam' for three hours.
