Standup comedian Munawar Faruqui has received huge relief from the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Munawar Farooqui. Farooqui was detained by the Madhya Pradesh Police on charges of insulting Hindu deities. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Madhya Pradesh government on Farooqui's petition. The court has issued a notice on the allegation that at the time of arrest, the police did not follow the guidelines set by the Supreme Court.

स्टैंडअप कॉमेडियन मुनव्वर फारूकी को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से बड़ी राहत मिली है,सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ने मुनव्वर फारूकी को अंतरिम जमानत दे दी है. फारूकी को हिंदू देवी-देवताओं के अपमान के आरोप में मध्य प्रदेश पुलिस ने हिरासत में लिया था. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने फारूकी की याचिका पर मध्य प्रदेश सरकार को नोटिस जारी किया है. कोर्ट ने इस आरोप पर नोटिस जारी किया है कि गिरफ्तारी के समय पुलिस ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा तय गाइडलाइन का पालन नहीं किया था.
